2014 Hines Energy Complex Negotiations Conclude

Brothers and Sisters,

On Thursday, March 13^th, the Company and the Union concluded the Hines Energy Complex negotiations. The Hines Union Negotiation Committee is currently reviewing and verifying the "details" of the agreement at this time and is hopeful a final package can be released to our members sometime in the next day or so, as soon as its content is screened for accuracy. Your Union committee unanimously voted to recommend this three (3) year contract to the membership for ratification. Your YES vote is recommended by your Union Committee with voting scheduled to take place next week at the Hines Energy Complex. More information will be disseminated shorty.

I wish to express my gratitude and admiration as I thank the Hines Energy Union Negotiation Committee for their hard work and dedication to their fellow members. The Hines employees were well represented and you deserve their thanks and respect for stepping forward and serving them well.

I would also like to thank Tony Salvarezza and his team for working with us through the negotiation process. It was a pleasure exchanging not just proposals, but sharing “ideas” that were productive in the true spirit of a successful negotiation process. This cooperation is acknowledged and appreciated.

As we move forward, please continue to work safely, watch out for your fellow members and remain focused on your job.
