Sisters and Brothers,
Some of you have reported getting calls from an insurance agent identifying himself or herself as being affiliated with the IBEW or SCU8; if it is from American Income Life, it is legit. Several years ago, we partnered with American Income Life to provide you with a free $3,000 life insurance policy. If you are getting calls, you probably returned the card in the mail for the free policy and they are trying to sell you more insurance. If you aren't interested, tell them so and ask that they stop calling.
Due to a couple of complaints from members concerned with their address being shared, I refused to provide AIL with consent to do another mailer, so I am attaching their brochure for anyone interested.
