Time frame to use dependent care hours extended

We know that many of our employees continue to face challenges as their normal summer dependent care options may not be available. Employees have expressed that flexibility to continue supporting their families is a priority. As a result, the company will be extending the time frame during which employees can use the additional 40 hours of COVID-19 dependent care hours through Aug. 31, 2020.

The “Dependent Care – COVID-19” pay code is currently available for use between March 9, 2020, and May 31, 2020, but it is being reactivated to reflect this extension. The pay code is targeted for reactivation on Friday, June 12, 2020.

Following its reactivation, the pay code will be available for use through Aug. 31, 2020. If employees have a need to utilize this code before it becomes available, they should amend their timesheets in MyTime once it’s reactivated. We will let you know once the pay code has been reactivated.
