Sisters and Brothers,
Today is a day of celebration and gratitude. On November 11, 1918 at 11:00 (11-11-11), the Allied forces and Germany signed an armistice which officially ended the fighting in WWI. This armistice would signify the end of the war to end all wars and would be commemorated on November 11th every year as Armistice Day. At the conclusion of WWII, the United States officially changed Armistice Day to Veterans Day which would honor all those who have served in the U.S. military.
IBEW SCU8 would like to say THANK YOU to all who have served and sacrificed so much to protect the country they love. Happy Veterans Day.
Fraternally Yours,
Phil
