Sisters and Brothers,

Earlier today, Management from the Meter Reading Department and Labor Relations held a conference call with the Bargaining Unit employees in that department to announce the impending changes and final numbers. Attached is the presentation as discussed on that call. The department will be reducing staffing by 13 FSR's and abolishing the 15 Meter Reader positions. The remaining 31 FSR's will then be considered Regional and work in 1 of 5 territories: 

1. North Central
2. South Central
3. North Coastal
4. Panhandle
5. South Coastal

The Union will continue working with Management and Labor Relations in resolving any issues that arise including possible RSS packages as well as finding positions for those wishing to remain employed. Please keep in mind the Field Service Technician position was created as a way to mitigate some of the job loss.
