The System Council U8 and Duke Energy Florida negotiating teams have reached a tentative agreement on a new 3-year contract.
Some highlights:
- 3 year contract 3.5%, 3.5%, 3% General Wage Increase
- New Leader positions at higher wage rates
- Blended OT rate of 1.55
- Change in rest time from 8 hours to 9 hours
- 80 hours of vacation carry-over
- An increase to FR clothing allotment
The contract ratification vote will be conducted online through this website only, on Friday, February 24, 2023 between the hours of 0700 and 1700. The Union is recommending a yes vote for ratification.
