I have to say it has been 50 years full of ups and downs but most of all 50 years of unity. Together we have been through job actions, strikes, ratifications and multiple rounds of negotiations.

Click the User Settings button from the home page, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see a password field. Delete the current password and enter in your own private password.

New minimum wage at University of New Mexico Hospital is ratified by Support Staff

District 1199 New Mexico has successfully negotiated, a new minimum wage of $15.21 an hour at University of New Mexico hospital. This new wage impacts over 700 workers at the only Trauma Level 1 Hospital in New Mexico. Many of the workers currently make $12.21 an hour. For some workers this means no longer having to work a second job or having to work overtime to make ends meet.

Living up to the motto on the side of the Local 776 tractor trailer “People helping People”, several Business Agents and Union Stewards from TForce Freight (Formerly UPS Freight) helped pack food boxes at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank on May 22nd and June 18th. The Agents and Stewards packed a combined 900 boxes of food to be distributed throughout Central PA.

Can public safety employers mandate COVID vaccination?

Surveys show our nation is divided about COVID vaccination. The Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) reports 62% of adults have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 41% of parents of children ages 12-17 say their child has received at least one dose.
